Fonds consists of records of the Department of Athletics and Recreation at Seneca. The collection consists largely of photographs of student athletes, teams, staff, buildings, and athletic events throughout the College's history, with some textual and moving image accompaniment.

Fonds consists of photographs taken by various Seneca photographers such as John Telford, George Suzuki and others, working for the Department of Media Production between 1967-2001. Many of the images featured in this fonds were used by internal staff and student publications as well as external publications, and can thus be cross referenced with such writing. The photos were taken for promotional purposes, and to act as a photographic documentation of the development of Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. Photographs depict numerous events and people throughout the College's history, and the collection serves as one of the strongest visual documentations of Seneca's history.
